It is a 1969 VW Squareback. Has a custom tube chassis with Mustang II front suspension. Power comes from a brand new small block Chevy 350/330 horse. Transmission is a Chevy 700R4 and rear end is a narrowed 9" Ford,4:11, triangulated four bar. The plan is to have this ride completed by this time next year as my wife and I plan to drive the complete "Motherroad,Route 66" from start to finish.
